The Demise of Childhood Education – From Singing, Dancing, Drawing and Playing to Composition, Calculus, Quantum Physics and Geology

An Imbalance Shift in Childhood Education

My wife is coming back to school from giving an early childhood education to our two little ones. She is an artist who had signed up as an art teacher six years ago. Unfortunately or fortunately, she was hijacked by me one year into her teaching contract. From a passionate art teacher she became a passionate lover and  mummy for the last 4 years.

Now that our children are fast approaching the next phase of childhood education, she is able to again contemplate coming back into the school system to complete her teaching contract. This was where we had a good discussion about which school she should go back to teach in.

What Navigating in the Jungle can Teach you about Creating Your Life?

Navigating and Creating your Life in the Jungle

My hand was held five inches in front of my face, yet, I could not see it. It was pitched dark. All around me, I could see nothing except the little cylum light indicator of my compass. There was some uncomfortable and quite chattering behind me as I led my company through the uncompromising jungles of Brunei. Navigating and creating your life in the jungle is a whole new ball game.

Many reasons for quitting were suggested. These range from the choosing of the wrong niche to the vision of making it quick. A fairly high percentage of bloggers are basically lazy who do not want to put in the hard work.

All this talk about quitting led me back to a time in my life where I QUIT.

In the process we had resurfaced some of the best leadership traits for us to learn.

Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of
your own self-transformation.”

The 7 Link Challenge on Blogging

My Blogging Journey

BloggingMy blogging journey started three months ago. Prior to that, I had two experimental blogs. I call them experimental because I was still finding my feed with regards to blogging.
